Key West, Florida
The city lies at the southernmost end of US Route 1, the longest north-south road in the United States. Key West is the southernmost city in the contiguous United States and the westernmost island connected by highway in the Florida Keys.
Enerst Hemingway's House
Located at 907 Whitehead Street, across from the Key West lighthouse, it was Hemingway's home from 1931 to 1939, although he retained title to the home until he died. It is a private, tourist attraction now populated by six- and seven-toed cats that are descendants of Hemingway's cats.
